§ 01 — Biography
Designing clarity inside complex systems.
Flora Bassan is a Senior Product Designer based in São Paulo, with more than ten years of experience designing products used daily by millions of people. Throughout her career, she has helped transform complex digital ecosystems into experiences that feel clearer, lighter and more human — balancing business goals, operational realities and user behaviour at scale.
Her work spans financial services, beauty retail, telecommunications and consumer goods, collaborating with brands such as Mercado Livre, Mercado Pago, Grupo Boticário, Claro and AB InBev. Across these experiences, she has led strategic redesigns, reduced friction in critical journeys and helped shape products that generated measurable impact for both businesses and users.
More than designing interfaces, Flora believes good product design is about reducing invisible effort. Creating systems that scale without losing humanity. Bringing calm to complexity. And turning difficult decisions, heavy processes and fragmented experiences into products people can move through naturally.
Her perspective was shaped not only by enterprise environments and multidisciplinary squads, but also by years navigating transformation, uncertainty, reinvention and growth inside fast-moving companies. Today, her work sits at the intersection of systems thinking, visual refinement and human behaviour — designing products that feel intentional, intuitive and quietly confident.
